She has taken engineering course when she was in college. A year after, she took a chance in online teaching in 2016. At first, it was just for the sake of having job. She started quite well, knowing what the convenience of online teaching could give. She began meeting and encountering different kinds of people -- different age, personalities, attitude, background, tradition and culture. Also, she learned how to handle various types of students and their own learning styles. She developed the skills of adapting and adjusting to student's learning phases, too. At the same time, her English abilities vastly improved and realized that she's got something for teaching. She had her very first online teaching experience for four years and nine months.
When the time of pandemic came, she decided to go back to her hometown, a small island, thinking it would be safer for her family. So, she left the city and stopped teaching for a year.
When the situation was becoming better, she returned to the city and was determined to go back to teaching once more. She looked for a good company to work for, until she found this platform.
There are many things she likes about online teaching, and here are some. First, it's the most convenient job she thinks. Second, she's able to meet and make friends with different people. Third, can earn reasonable amount.
Teaching is one of the most rewarding professions. It feels more than great to see other people (students) enhance and boost their skills, abilities and confidence in the field of English, and it's because of your help. Teaching is full of little joys and achievement, whether it's big or small, in every day situation.
To our dear students, however it may seem difficult sometimes, I hope you'll still find courage and inspiration to keep going. Let's learn together and have fun!
